I am absolutely howling that a) Focks News had a tarot reader on at all when most of its viewers are 'Christians'* and b) what happened when they did.
*Speaking as a witch, of course I'm well acquainted with Jesus and can tell you right now from him he has very very few followers indeed.
Seems like Fox News is really scrapping for guests and content if they're inviting an Astrologist on for New Year's.
ReplyDeleteAs someone who comes from a very old Lutheran family (exiled during the 30 years' war) and even older druidic family branch we have no problem embracing the old ways and the teachings of Jesus. I'm quite fond of Jesus with values more closely aligned to him than any Walmart or Hobby Lobby "tribe" of ~persecuted Christians~ with their guts hanging out sucking up Fox News propaganda like an over microwaved tv dinner.
My cadre involves some of the most faithful followers of Jesus Christ. Religion is only as powerful as the power people are willing to give it, faith is something altogether different. True Christians know the difference but don't run around yelling about it. Faith interweaves the tapestry of life like the tenderest roots of Yggdrasil. I've taken the sacrament with Christians, fire walked with Buddhists, drank from Shiva's well with Hindis and shared a vision quest with an old Lakota shaman. Each experience is meaningful and purposeful. I am everyone's familiar and they are mine. You are my light, and I am yours.

Elisbeth Kubler-Ross is giving me sound advice and an understanding that 2024 doesn't have to be as bad as I feared it could be, even if there is a "Hitler in all of us." (Her words not mine.)
Yes! Let's start a rumour that Elisabeth Kubler-Ross is Jesus returned to start the rapture and that's why there are no Christians. I love literally everything she does.
DeleteHa Ha Ha. She has a sense of humor, I think she'd be okay with that.
